So on a personal note, I had to mention the death of Leonard Nimoy yesterday (nice obit here). I remember watching Star Trek in syndication on PBS on Saturday nights (3 straight shows and no commercials, it was awesome!). Just the idea that everyone, even aliens, could work together as a team for the greater good, with all that cool tech, was incredible.
I will miss seeing him pop up, either by voice or in person in so many movies (though I don’t think I’ll miss his music). So, in the immortal words of our half-Vulcan friend, Live Long and Prosper!
